Its composition differs depending on the source of the sand, but most forms are useful for roads, aggregate concrete manufacturing, and sanitation. Uses and Applications –
Sand and gravel are used to make concrete, to mix with asphalt for road construction, and in the production of blocks, pipes, and bricks for construction. Sand and gravel can also be used to create roofing shingles, for landscaping and xeriscaping, water filtration, for driveways or parking lots, and, to help with traction on the road during an icy winter.
